Thankfully, some things never change. As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, it is amazing to look back at our product offerings and compare them to today. From the sheer number of items, to the wealth of product variety, we’ve surely grown into something we never initially imagined. Fortunately, the core ideas that mean so much to us haven’t changed at all. We remain passionate about the creative process and even more passionate about the outdoors that we bring into homes everyone.

Description:
These sculptures are meticulously handcrafted by Big Sky Carvers artists based on my own life experiences. Each Piece comes with a copy of the story from which it was inspired. “The most powerful force in nature comes late in the fall, when bucks battle with each other for mating rites. The center of a buck deer’s existence is that brief 30 or so day s of fighting and reproducing. Their overwhelming passion can lead to spectacular battles.I was whitetail hunting on my dad’s Montana farm some years ago when ahead of me in the buffaloberry bushes I heard the unmistakable rattling and clanking of horns. I crept closer and watched the show. Wide-eyed, runny nosed and panting, two bucks had squared off and locked horns. One had the other on his knees and both were exhausted. For a moment, I thought they had become entangled and were unable to get free, but they shook loose, caught their breaths and went at it again. The slightly larger buck finally won and the disgraced loser limped off into the thicket. I had the big boy broadside for a few minutes but couldn’t bring myself to ruin his otherwise perfect day…” -Marc Pierce, Founder - Big Sky Carvers. Thunderstruck! |
